Reservoir Modelling and Simulation of Cambay Shale coupled with Geo-Mechanics and Hydrofracturing
About the School:
The School of Petroleum Technology (SPT), PDPU was established in the year 2007 with an objective to provide excellent academic programmes in Petroleum Engineering. The school is inviting applications for the post of Project Assistant / Research Assistant / Research Associate, where the candidate will be involved in qualitative and quantitative research on the aforementioned area.
Job Purpose and Scope:
- Desktop Based Research on said area.
- Conduct routine literature survey, will be needed most of the time.
- Assist Principal Investigators (PI) in laboratory experiments as and when required.
- Perform Modeling and Simulation Work
- Assist PIs in preparing monographs on the said area.
- Communications with the Industry
Qualification/ Experience Required:
- Bachelor of Technology Degree in Petroleum / Mechanical / Electronics / Chemical / Computer Engineering
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Computer Skills and Software Proficiency is must.
- Experience of one year will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of experimental procedures especially within the area of specialty.
- Knowledge of Petroleum Engineering will be an added qualification.
- Salary will be as per the qualifications.
Project Duration: 6 Months
